Inspection
The homeowner notices damage to the roof, such as leaks, missing shingles, or water stains on the ceiling, and decides to get it inspected by Trust Tech Roofing. We will assess the damage and provide an estimate for the repairs or replacement.
Contact Insurance Company
The homeowner contacts their insurance company to file a claim. They provide details of the damage, along with the inspection report and the estimate from Trust Tech Roofing.
Insurance Adjuster Visit
The insurance company assigns an adjuster to assess the damage. The adjuster visits the property, inspects the roof, and evaluates the extent of the damage. It's crucial for the homeowner to be present during this inspection to ensure all damage is noted.
Claim Approval
Based on the adjuster's report and the homeowner's claim, the insurance company approves the claim. They provide details about the coverage, deductible, and the amount they will pay for the repairs or replacement. The homeowner receives a claim summary outlining these details.
Contractor Discussion
The homeowner works with Trust Tech Roofing discussing the budget provided by the insurance company.
Contractor Meeting with Insurance Adjuster
Trust Tech Roofing meets with the insurance adjuster to go over the scope of work, ensuring both parties agree on the necessary repairs or replacement. Any discrepancies are resolved at this stage.
Roof Replacement/Repair
Once the details are finalized, Trust Tech Roofing starts the repair or replacement work. The homeowner will continue to be notified during the process to ensure the work is completed to their satisfaction and according to the agreed-upon scope.
Final Inspection
After the roofing work is completed, the homeowner and Trust Tech Roofing will perform a final inspection to ensure everything has been done correctly. If any issues are identified, they are addressed before closing the project.
Invoice Submission
Trust Tech Roofing submits the invoice to the insurance company, detailing the completed work and the associated costs. The insurance company processes the invoice and releases the final payment to the homeowner, minus the deductible.
Completion and Satisfaction
The homeowner ensures that all payments are made to Trust Tech Roofing, and the insurance claim process is completed. They are now satisfied with their new roof and have peace of mind knowing their home is protected.
insurance policy
Remember, each insurance policy and claim can be unique, so it’s essential for the homeowner to carefully review their policy and work closely with both the insurance company and Trust Tech Roofing throughout the process.
